More Pride, Less Prejudice

"More Pride, Less Prejudice" which raises up marginalized groups including LGBTQ+ pride, nationalism, body image and a host of other groups.  This show was originally created to bring to high schools within the Chicagoland area.  The working playlist includes songs like "Being Green/I Am What I Am" mash up that addresses being different from your peers, NOT gay specific.  Also "Last One Picked" that relates the age old story of being last one picked for sports BUT if we hand on, the day comes when we realize that we can be special in other ways.  Other foci are combating anti-semitism, body image, ageism and ageing ("I'm Becoming My Mother"), combating aging with surgery "What Have You Done To You Face?" a comedic look at the results of a friend's facelift and more.  Kevin's style is based on the old Red Skelton structure where you could be laughing husterically and in the next moment, weeping to the lyrics of an old familiar tune.  "Once Upton A Time," a wistful look back into the past is a great example.
