Alisha's Light is a mix of spoken word poetry and narrative storytelling that takes the audience on a journey through my first year of transition. The individual pieces evoke strong emotional responses- mostly positive- as audience members gain insight into what it means for a post-40 woman to find and accept her authentic self.
